About Me
Welcome to my site! I'm Lauren Seip and I live in Dallas, Texas. I went to the University of Oklahoma and received a degree in print journalism with a focus on creative writing.
My passion for storytelling began at a very young age. I was born in Saudi Arabia and lived there for 14 years. While there, my family traveled to more than 30 countries - Kenya, Nepal, Japan, Italy, and Egypt to name a few! I never forgot to pack my journal and video camera, documenting every part of our adventures.
Traveling the world has opened my eyes to the art of storytelling. I believe it's my purpose in life to capture moments through words and share these stories with others, whether in a professional or personal setting.
My career background focuses on content creation & strategy, branding, and digital advertising. Currently, I'm the Content Marketing Manager at ProLion, a global cybersecurity company.

Work Experience
August 2022 - Present
Content Marketing Manager at ProLion. ProLion offers powerful cybersecurity solutions to 660+ companies around the world. I am the first U.S. marketer hired and responsible for creating an in-depth content strategy for the new market. I write blog posts, emails, and white papers, as well as work closely with the sales team to develop enablement collateral.
November 2020 - August 2022
Content Marketing Manager at OrderMyGear (OMG). OMG is an online store platform that delivers retail-like experiences to promotional product distributors, decorators, and dealers. My responsibilities included quarterly content strategy, email marketing, social media strategy, and writing blog posts, press releases, and sales enablement. Last year, I helped with a rebranding overhaul that helped position OMG as a technology leader within the industry.
May 2019 - November 2020
Content Writer at SAGE. SAGE is a software-based company
that focuses directly on the promotional products industry. As the content writer, I wrote the blog posts and website copy, reviewed and edited all marketing publications, created newsletters sent to more than 60,000 clients, and worked with the videographer to create engaging marketing videos.
Aug. 2017 - Feb. 2019
Lead Copywriter at Monkedia. Named the fasting growing company in Texas by Inc. 5000, Monkedia is a digital advertising agency in Irving, TX. I wore many hats here, acting as the lead copywriter, training new creatives, developing creative strategies alongside the Creative Director, and styling in-house product shoots. Some of the top accounts I have written for include the NFL, simplehuman, EAS, the Emmys, Michael Hyatt, and the College Football Playoffs.
